International star Priyanka Chopra has given voice to PETA for a great cause. She has given a voiceover for a robotic elephant named Ellie that is to go on a school tour across US, Europe and India.

The purpose behind this cause is to help educate children about elephants and captivity. This 6.5-foot-tall Ellie (Elephant) will speak to students and shares her story telling them her painful separation from her mother as an infant and will discuss on the physical punishment that she endured at the hands of her circus handlers.

Priyanka is very happy to join the cause and be a part of it. She excitedly says, "Ellie is teaching kids that elephants belong in the wild with their families and that they suffer greatly in captivity. When they are captured they are chained, forced to learn tricks, deprived of all the things that make them happy, like family and freedom." She also added saying, I'm pleased to join with PETA in bringing Ellie to life for children everywhere."
