Yesterday, famous Bollywood siblings Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar opened up and thanked the fans as it marked the 20th anniversary of their production venture 'Excel Entertainment'. They have announced their next adventurous project today in which Farhan Akhtar returns to directing.
The Akhtar duo revealed their reunion owing to the 20th release anniversary of their debut 'Dil Chahta Hai'. They have made classic road-trip movies 'Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', which set a benchmark for adventurous films in Indian Cinema. Farhan & Zoya are getting back to their roots and on-board to make a road-trip movie.
While the boys took the road trip in the duo's previous adventures, this time the girls are taking their car out for an adventure. Three hotties: Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt are leading this movie titled 'Jee Le Zaraa'. Farhan is directing Jee Le Zaraa while the project is written by Farhan, Zoya, and Reema Kagti.
This flick will be produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Studio. The three heroines will commence shooting for Jee Le Zaraa in 2022. Farhan Akhtar is returning to direction after 10 years, while his last directorial venture was 'Don 2 (2011).
