One of the leading media house, Disney India will be working with five power packed actors for a movie. The movie will have stars like Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar, Om Puri and Shefali Shah in the lead. They will be lending their voice for the Hindi version of the Hollywood film The Jungle Book`.
International star Priyanka Chopra, will be lending her voice for Kaa, the Python. She is currently working on her first Hollywood film 'Baywatch' and her TV show Quantico`. While, Irrfan Khan will be the voice of friendly bear Baloo and he was last seen in Piku`. The beautiful Shefali Shah will dub her voice for Raksha, the wolf. She was also last seen in the movie Dil Dhadakne Do` and also won accolades for her role. Ace and talented actor, Om Puri will lend his voice to Bagheera - the Black Panther and Nana Patekar is roped in to become the voice of Shere Khan, the Bengal Tiger. WOW!!! This cast is going to be amazing.
According to reports, Disney India's Vice-President Amrita Pandey said, "The Jungle Book is so very special to India, and we want our audience enjoy Disney's all-new live-action adaptation. We wanted nothing but the best for the Hindi version of the film. We are so excited to have such veterans and A list actors come together to voice and bring alive these beloved characters making it like a hi scale hindi film."
The movie 'The Jungle Book' will release on April 8, a week before the movie hits the screens in the US and it is directed by Jon Favreau.
