Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who had married Singer Nick Jonas is currently settled in the US and is working on a number of interesting Indian and Hollywood projects. The actress has been now selected to receive an international recognition from the International Organisation UNICEF.

Priyanka Chopra was selected as the global UNICEF goodwill ambassador for child rights in 2010 and 2016, and now the organization has selected her to be honored with the Danny Kaye humanitarian award at the Unicef snowflake ball to be held in December.

Priyanka Chopra had tweeted "So humbled. Thank u UNICEF USA for honouring me with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the #UNICEFSnowflake Ball in December! My work with UNICEF on behalf of all the world's children means everything to me..Here’s to peace freedom & the right to education #ForEveryChild". The event will be held on December 3 in New York.
