Bollywood and now Hollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra grandmother passes away on Friday. Reports say that, Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri gave no problem to family as she passed away in her sleep, it was just few weeks back that she celebrated her 94th birthday.

On her grandma`s death, Priyanka opened up saying: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri, our beloved mother and grandmother, freedom fighter, social activist, MLA, amongst other things. She was an amazing woman who lived a full life, filled with purpose and love." She also added saying; "She left us in her sleep, surrounded by her family and loved ones". International star Priyanka ended by saying, "Her grandmother will always be in her heart. Those we love don`t go away, they walk beside us everyday".
