Celebrity couple Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas welcomed a baby via surrogacy on Friday. The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share the happy news with their fans and followers. "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much," wrote Priyanka.

The news announcement has left the internet in a tizzy. In no time, fans and celebs jumped to the comment section and congratulated the couple for the new phase. Reportedly, the baby girl was born 12 weeks early at a Southern California hospital outside LA, where she will remain till she is healthy enough to return home to Nick-Priyanka. After dating for four months, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in 2018. Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra has a lot of exciting projects in hand including a Hollywood project Citadel.
