Sibling rivalry seems at its best on the sets of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’. Actress Priyamani, who is touted to be playing Soorpanaka in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’, says what has improved her as an actor is her association with Vikram, who plays ‘Raavan’, her brother in the film.

“On the sets, my focus in on outsmarting Vikram as an actor. Kenny is terrific at his work and it’s inspiring to see how he changes from a jovial person off screen to the character he plays when the camera gets rolling,” drools Priyamani. “In fact, Kenny has made me develop a conviction to do as good as him in all our scenes in the film,” adds the actress, who is clearly excited about her double whammy in working with the country’s best actors and director Mani Ratnam.

‘Raavan’ is a bilingual directed by Mani Ratnam and has Vikram and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. Prithviraj is said to be playing Ram while Priyamani, Soorpanaka. Manikandan cranks the camera for this film which has music by AR Rahman. Aishwarya Rai is juggling dates between ‘Raavan’ and ‘Endhiran’. The actress has allotted 200 bulk dates for ‘Endhiran’ in which she pairs with the superstar for the first time.
