Priyamani’s role in Naga Chaitanya-Krithi Shetty’s movie revealed!

Naga Chaitanya’s 22nd film, which is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, stars Krithi Shetty as the heroine and Arvind Swamy as the protagonist. The news is that Priyamani has been roped in to play a Chief Minister in this 2023 release.

The actress will not have a full-fledged role in the untitled movie but she is going to determine the direction of the story. 

Priyamani was recently seen as Comrade Bharatakka, a naxalite, in Rana Daggubati-Sai Pallavi’s ‘Virata Parvam’. She is playing a CBI officer in ‘Cyanide Mohan’, a multi-lingual crime thriller. Venkatesh’s ‘Narappa’, ‘Quotation Gang’ and ‘Bhama Kalapam’ (streaming on Aha) are among her other recent projects.

As for NC22, Sampath Raj, Sarathkumar, and Vennela Kishore have got other roles in the movie. Produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen and presented by Pavan Kumar, the film’s shoot is currently on. NC22 has music by the Ilaiyaraaja-Yuvan Shankar Raja duo. With dialogues by Abburi Ravi, the film seems to be one of the most expensive films in the career of the Akkineni hero.
