Actress Priyamani is making a comeback to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus through the film 'Ashiq Vanna Divasam'. Directed by Krish Kaimal, who had earlier made Olapeeppi, the movie has started rolling in Kochi. Krish has also written the screenplay and is doing the cinematography of the film.

Along with Priyamani, the movie also features Nasser Lathif, Baby Piya, Kanchanamma, Kalasala Babu, Irshad, Kalabhavan Haneef and Master Dupath in pivotal roles. Produced by Nasser Lathif, Ashiq Vanna Divasam has music by Mathew Pulikkal.

Ashiq Vanna Divasam will be Priyamani's first Malayalam film post wedding with Mustafa Raj on August 23 in Bengaluru. However, the actress has been actively present in Malayalam television, as a reality show judge.
