National Award winning Tamil heroine gets Engaged

Actress Priyamani has officially confirmed that she has got engaged with her long time beau Mustufa Raj on Firday, 27th of May at a private function held at her home in Bangalore.

Priyamani made her acting debut in Tamil playing the female lead in director Bharathiraja's 'Kanagalal Kaithu Sei' in 2004. She won the National award for the Best actress, for her brilliant performance as 'Muthazhagu' in director Ameer's classic 'Paruthiveeran'. Her other notable Tamil films include director Balu Mahendra's 'Adhu Oru Kanakalam' and director Mani Ratnam's 'Ravanan'.

She has also acted in many Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Especially in Malayalam she has acted in super hit flicks alongside top heroes like Prithviraj.
