The top actress of South Indian cinema also making foray in to Hindi cinema Priyamani Mustafa has sought for change in the outlook in the cinema industry with regard to position of heroines after marriage.
Why the heroes are not treated in the same way like how heroines are looked at after marriage is the question cropped up in Priyamani mind.
Addressing media at Kanteerava studio on Monday morning Priyamani asked a pertinent question why this society does not look at heroine after marriage and hero after marriage in equality. The issue ‘you are finished after marriage to heroines’ should be stopped. Look at me; I have come to sets just after three days of shoot to Tamil film. I am now in Kannada and later moving to Hindi cinema. We got married according to our religion. I was Miss now Misses. I have complete freedom and living happily in my life is motto.
I don’t say good bye to cinema. I would work for eight more years. Like how Karina Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Kajol continued after marriage, I would follow it in South. I don’t have any responsibility after marriage. My husband is busy in his work; I can’t predict what happens tomorrow signed off Priyamani.
