Priyadarshi has become fond of Rifle shooting

In the web show ‘Loser’, actor Priyadarshi played a rifle shooter.  He not only won critical acclaim for his performance but many also started seeing in him a more serious and versatile actor.  Since the role demanded learning rifle shooting, the ‘Pelli Choopulu’ actor did it religiously.  Months later, he has become a fan of the sport and finds it meditative.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, the ‘Mallesham’ actor says that his trainer Nilakanth Mane prodded him to do a certification course and he played ball.  “This sport requires a different level of courage and skill.  Rifle shooting has mellowed me as a person,” he tells the daily.

The actor awaits the release of ‘Jaathi Rathnalu’ later this year.  Directed by Anudeep KV, it has Naveen Polishetty and Rahul Ramakrishna as the other lead men.  Music is by Radhan.  Cinematography is by Manohar, while art direction and editing are by Chandrika-Ali duo and Abhinav, respectively.
