Kalyani Priyadarshan’s effortless performance in her Mollywood debut 'Varane Avashyamund' won praises from all corners. However, the actress has been waiting to hear the review from her father Priyadarshan, a veteran filmmaker.
Though the movie was released on February 7, Kalyani’s father Priyadarshan couldn’t watch the family entertainer, as he was busy with the post-production works of his upcoming Mohanlal starrer magnum opus ‘Marakkar - Arabikkadalinte Simham’.
And now finally, Priyadarshan has watched 'Varane Avashyamund'. As he was over the phone appreciating the team and the movie's director Anoop Sathyan, who made his directorial debut, Kalyani took a video of the same and posted on her social media handle.
Sharing the video she wrote, “When your dad finally watched your film and he's busy talking to and praising the director and others while you wait for him to cut the calls and start praising you… Mera hug kab ayega?”
Soon after her father appreciated her performance, Kalyani immediately updated her fans with another picture. She wrote, “Update Guys!!! I finally got my hug. And he said he loved the film and loved me in it. BRB gonna go dance with my dog now to rejoice.#Varaneavashyamund.”
Being the daughter of actress Lissy and filmmaker Priyadarshan, the Mollywood audience had been dying to watch her in Malayalam cinema. As she has already set her bar high with 'Varane Avashyamund', the audience are eagerly waiting to see her in 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham'. As you know Kalyani is playing an important role in her father's direction ‘Marakkar - Arabikkadalinte Simham’, alongside Pranav Mohanlal.
Kalyani is also busy shooting for her upcoming Mollywood movie, ‘Hridayam’ starring alongside Pranav Mohanlal. The movie is directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
