Priyadarshan opens up about Mohanlal's Kunjali Marikkar

Earlier, there were rumours that Mohanlal and Priyadarshan are teaming up for a movie in which the complete actor would be playing a police trainer. Now the director has dismissed the reports, saying that his upcoming movie will be a period drama about Kunjali Marikkar's of the 16th century. The director who has been researching on the project for quite sometime revealed that it would take at least 10 months to complete the script. 

As there were four key Kunjali Marikkars during the era, Priyadarshan says that they haven't decided which one Mohanlal will play. The director has also revealed that he would be doing a Bollywood film before this Mohanlal starrer.
