Priya Varrier's pic on CPI posters leads to ridicule

On a day when the Marxists have lost Tripura, here comes the news that Priya Prakash Varrier has replaced Communist icons on the posters of CPI's youth wing in Kerala.

The CPI's youth wing, AISF, is holding a conference and on its posters features the national crush in full flourish. The party has been ridiculed for replacing Che Guevara with the film actress.

However, AISF has said in a statement that they have used Priya's pic to show their support for her at a time when many cases were recently slapped against her by the members of a community.
