Ever since her absence on social media, netizens were curious to know the reason for deactivating her supremely followed social media account. The actress is now back on Instagram. Sharing a heartfelt video, the actress spoke in-depth about why she was detached from Instagram for over two weeks.
Thanking all the fans who were genuinely concerned about her, she said that she did it for her mental health and her peace of mind. She wrote, "Thanks to all of you who were genuinely concerned about me...Grateful."
In the 10 minutes long video she said, "I had a lot of fun in the past two weeks, however, since it is my professional space, I am back. I felt that I am under pressure about the likes, follows, and views."
Priya, who has a massive fan following of over 7 million on Instagram, revealed it was the basic reason why she wanted to take a short break from social media.
Priya's next release is a Kannada movie 'Vishnupriya' in which she is pairing up with Shreyas Manju, son of leading producer K Manju. Her Bollywood debut 'Sridevi Bungalow' is also awaiting a release.
