Priya Varriers film gets a new climax after complaints

'Lovers Day' ('Oru Adaar Love' in Malayalam), starring Priya Prakash Varrier as the heroine, hit the screens on February 14. Its tragic climax has not gone down well with large segments of the audience.

In the wake of complaints about the ending, its director Omar Lulu has reshot it. The ending was rewritten to suit the commercial box-office standards. The new climax is 10 minutes longer and starts being played at theatres from today.

The rom-com has been a washout in the Telugu States. It's holding decently in Kerala.

Since it stars the national wink sensation Priya Varrier, many expected it to put up a decent show in the Telugu States.
