Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar had started her career as a news reader and starred in a hit Television serial Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal varai before making her debut as a heroine in Tamil with Meyaadha Maan directed by Rathna Kumar and produced by Karthik Subbaraj.

The actress went on to star in movies like Kadaikutty Singam, and was recently seen in the hit entertainer Monster co-starring SJ Suryah. Now the latest news making rounds is that Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in to play the female lead in Indru Netru Naalai 2, starring Vishnu Vishal and Karunakaran.

Coinciding with these speculations, the actress had also retweeted Vishnu Vishal's tweet on the movie, indicating that she might be a part of the movie. An official announcement of the same is expected soon. It must be noted that Indru Netru Naalai released in 2015 had Miya George playing the female lead.
