Priya Bhavani Shankar to share screen space with actor Arulnithi again? – Hot update

The 2015 film ‘Demonte Colony’ is pure horror in Tamil cinema, which marked the debut of director Ajay Gnanamuthu a former associate of A.R. Murugadoss. The film starred Arulnithi in the lead with Sananth, Ramesh Thilak, Abishek Joseph George, and MS Bhaskar playing pivotal roles. 

On May 23, Ajay Gnanamuthu officially announced that ‘Demonte colony’ gets a sequel and Arulnithi is returning to play the lead. While Ajay pens the script, the directorial duties will be handled by his ‘Cobra’ associate director Venkatesh in ‘Demonte Colony 2’. Now, the latest is that Priya Bhavani Shankar is roped in as the female lead of the project. 

A source tells us, “Priya has signed on the dotted line and will be playing the female lead in Demonte Colony 2, which will go on floors in August.” Notably, Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar earlier paired in the film ‘Kalathil Sandhippom’. Apart from the roles from the first part, the sequel will have some new characters including Priya’s role.
