Priya and Atlee set couple goals on their 7th wedding anniversary - shares heartfelt note

 
Director Atlee has gone a long way since his debut film Raja Rani in the year 2013. He is one of the few Directors who are successful and content both in his personal and professional life. Atlee is celebrating his 7th wedding anniversary today and the best wish came from his wife and actress Priya.

The love story of Atlee and Priya will make you believe in true love. Priya and Atlee had a common group of friends and thus knew each other. Their common interest in films made them good friends for many years. Their marriage is definitely a fairy tale and in an interview, Atlee himself opened up saying 'it was a big thing but it all happened so casually.' “Many in my friends' gang including actor Sivakarthikeyan knew that I had a special liking for Priya. Only she was the one who wasn't aware of my feelings,”

 
The couple tied the knot in the year 2014 with other friends in and out of the film industry gracing the event. As today marks the seventh anniversary of their wedding Priya took to her Twitter to share a cute picture and wrote, Thanks for being that friend n that husband every girl wishes to have, love U to the moon and bk forever n ever papa,here is to more n more happiness,fun,madness n laughter together forever,happy happy anniversary to us @Atlee_dir,7 yrs down n forever to goooooooo luv u papa(sic)
 
 
On the professional front, Priya quit the show biz after marriage but is often seen attending social events along with her husband. On the other hand, Atlee gave back to back blockbuster films with Thalapathy Vijay. he is currently shooting his next film with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara playing the lead lady in this Pan India film.
