Prithvi's Hindi film to start

The most popular young star of Mollywood, Prithviraj will have the shoot for his debut Hindi film from this October. Titled 'Ayya', Rani Mukerji is the heroine of the movie. Produced and scripted by Anurag Kashyap, 'Ayya' will be the first movie as a director by Sachin Kundalkar, the famous theatres persona.

Prithvi will be playing the role of a Tamil guy who speaks Hindi with a thick South Indian accent. Rani appears as his lover, a Maharashtrian clad in salwars and speaking in a mix up of Marathi and Hindi. Set in Mumbai, the makers are in the process to narrate a North-South love story alike the kamalhassan's' debut Hindi 'Ek Duje Ke liye' which was a bumper hit in the early eighties. Amit Trivedi will be composing the music for 'Ayya'.
