Tovino Thomas, one of the most sought-after heroes of Mollywood, has signed a new movie. The handsome actor who is currently awaiting the release of Aashiq Abu's Mayanadhi has signed August Cinemas' upcoming project titled Theevandi which will start rolling from November 15.

Now the latest that we hear is actress Chandini Sreedharan, of Prithviraj's 'Darwinte Parinamam' fame, is paired opposite Tovino in Theevandi. The gorgeous actress who made her Malayalam debut in 2015 with Unni Mukundan’s KL 10  was last seen in a brief but integral role in Amal Neerad’s Dulquer Salmaan starrer CIA aka Comrade In America.

Touted to be a political satire, Theevandi will feature Tovino in the role of a lazy unemployed youngster named Bineesh.  Chandini plays the role of a government employee. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saiju Kurup and Surabhi Lakshmi are also part of the movie’s supporting cast.
