Within 8 days of release Prithviraj's Ezra has garnered over Rs. 1.08 crores in Kochi multi-plexes. Interestingly, Mohanlal's blockbuster movie Pulimurugan also had a similar collection in a very short time. The movie that was released on February 10th collected over Rs 2.61 crores in Kerala box-office on its first day of release. As the movie is gearing up to hit the foreign screens by the end of this month, Ezra is expected to break more records!

According to reports from trade sources, the movie has already crossed the 10 crore mark in total, and will most probably end up as the highest-grossing Prithviraj starrer. However, there is no official report on the same. Meanwhile, both Jomonte Suvisheshangal and Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol crossed the Rs 30 crore mark.
