Actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran’s much-awaited upcoming Malayalam movie Cold Case will have a direct release on OTT platform. On Friday, the makers of the movie unveiled a brand new poster announcing the release date. The movie will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 30.

Touted to be an investigative thriller, Cold Case marks the comeback of Prithviraj in a cop avatar. The movie which revolves around a murder that happens in Thiruvananthapuram will feature the actor in the role of ACP Sathyajith IPS. Aditi Balan of ‘Aruvi’ is the female lead of the movie, which is helmed by Ranu Balak. Scripted by Srinath V Nath, the movie is jointly bankrolled by Anto Joseph and Plan J Studios.
