Prithviraj's Bhramam gets a release date!

On Sunday, actor Prithviraj took to his social media handle to officially announce the release date of his much-awaited movie Bhramam. The crime thriller, which is the official Malayalam remake of the Bollywood movie Andhadhun, will release on over-the-top (OTT) platform, Amazon Prime Video, on October 7. "Proud to introduce my film, Bhramam - available in India only on @primevideoin and in theatres worldwide (except India) from 7th Oct, 2021," he tweeted. Directed by Ravi K Chandran, who has also handled the cinematography for the film, the upcoming venture features Prithviraj, Unni Mukundan, Rashi Khanna, and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. Jointly produced by AP International and Viacom18 Studios, "Bhramam" dwells on the dualities of a pianist -- essayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran -- who pretends to be blind.
As you know, the Bollywood original "Andhadhun" featured Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte in the lead role. The film won three National Film Awards: Best Feature Film in Hindi, Best Actor for Khurrana, and Best Screenplay. Meanwhile, the movie is getting a Telugu adaptation and Tamil adaptation, the shoot of those are underway.
