Prithviraj's 'Vimaanam' starts rolling!

Prithviraj`s Vimaanam which has been in the news for a long time now has started rolling. Directed by debutant Pradeep M Nair, the movie features Prithviraj in the role of a deaf and mute youngtser who builds an aircraft on his own.
The movie though not a biopic, is inspired from the real life of Saji Thomas, a hearing and speech impaired person from Idukki, who built a light weight aircraft on his own. Prithviraj who has shed down few kilos for the movie is also said to have taken some flying classes for his role in the movie. Reportedly, Vimanam will be made of whopping budget involving a lot of VFX works for the flying scenes.
Apart from Prithviraj, Vimaanam also features Nedumudi Venu, Sudheer Karamana, Shanthi Krishna and many others in prominent supporting roles. Produced by Listin Stephen, Vimaanam's music is by Gopi Sunder. The movie will be primarily shot in Kochi, Delhi and Mangalore.
