Recently in an interview Prithviraj spoke about his pending directorial debut Lucifer` with Mohanlal in the lead. Lots of speculations are taking its rounds about the project and even fan-made poster are being circulated which has Mohanlal in different get-ups purportedly claiming it as Lucifer.

The actor said that there was a beautiful film written by Murali Gopi that was to be directed by the late director Rajesh Pillai and had Mohanlal in the lead. When Rajesh Pillai passed away it met its end. “Murali Gopi told me another story. The director was not decided. Murali Gopi suggested that I should direct it. Lal Sir and Antony Perumbavoor agreed to it. At least for the last three years I am collaborating with all the sections of a film, so I was not afraid to do it. The film won`t happen fast. But it will definitely happen,” said Prithviraj.
