On the 8th anniversary of 'Mumbai Police', the movie's director Rosshan Andrrews made a big announcement. The hitmaker director announced that he is planning to remake the movie very soon. However, he did not reveal the language in which the movie will be remade. Taking to his social media handle, the director announced the same sharing alongside a few throwback snaps from the movie's set.
“8 years of ‘ Mumbai police ‘ !!! Sharing some great memories with you all .... Aliyaaaaaa ...... still, people talk about this film! We are remaking this film very soon .... will give all the details ... just wait ... love you all,” wrote Rosshan.
Starring Prithviraj, Jayasurya, and Rahman in the lead roles, 'Mumbai Police' was a box-office hit and also a critically acclaimed movie. The investigation cop thriller is penned by Bobby-Sanjay and produced by Nisad Haneefa.
As Rosshan Anddrews made his Kollywood debut by remaking Manju Warrier starrer ‘How Old Are You?', speculations are rife that the director is planning to remake 'Mumbai Police' also in Tamil. Rosshan Andrew's upcoming release is the much-awaited cop-tale 'Salute', which has Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role.
