Actor Prithviraj and director Shaji Kailas are teaming up for the first time for an upcoming action entertainer titled 'Kaduva'. The movie went on floors earlier this year and had completed the first schedule of shoot. On Sunday, the team resumed the shoot by filming for the second schedule. After wrapping up the shoot of the Mohanlal starrer movie ‘Alone’, filmmaker Shaji Kailas had kickstarted the shoot of Kaduva and Prithviraj too had joined the sets of the film. Reportedly, director Shaji Kailas is planning to complete the second schedule of the film in 70 days. As reported earlier, the veteran director had wrapped the shoot of his much-hyped Mohanlal starrer movie Alone in a matter of just 18 days and had already hit the headlines recently. In a similar way, the director has begun the shoot of Kaduva taking all the preparations. Shaji Kailas himself took to his social media handle and shared the interesting update with fans sharing alongside a few pictures from the set. In the pictures, Prithvi is seen handsome and charming in a white kurta and mundu.

Helmed by Shaji Kailas, ‘Kaduva’ will feature Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kaduvakkunnel Kuruvachan. Actors such as Vivek Oberoi, Arjun Ashokan, and Samyuktha Menon are also part of the cast. Penned by Jinu Abraham, the movie's cinematography is by Abhinandan Ramanujan and Shammer Muhammed is the editor. Jakes Bejoy is scoring the music, while Sameera Saneesh is the costume designer.
