Popular star kids Prithviraj and Indrajith are both actors and they have made it big in the movie industry. While Prithviraj rose to fame as a hero, Indrajith won the hearts of the audience with a number of his performance-oriented character roles. The siblings also starred together in several movies and have been very supportive of each other films despite being in the same profession.
In an interview with a popular TV channel, veteran actress Mallika Sukumaran, the mother of the talented siblings, was asked to pick "the better actor" among the two. Interestingly, for the first time, the actress answered the question with pride.
‘Indran (Indrajith) first acted in a telefilm with Abhirami. Director Vinayan happened to see this video and cast him in ‘Oomapenninu Uriyada Payyan’ movie. Indran was already employed then. He acted in the movie seven months after entering the job. On the other hand, Raju’s (Prithviraj) education in Australia taught him many things. But both of them have a good habit of reading. My sons are like my two eyes. Asking me to choose the better actor between the two is a very difficult question. Both of them have different styles," said Mallika.
She further added, "I have seen many youngsters say ‘Wow’ with excitement on seeing Prithvi’s colour, glamour and cooling glasses. They have told me also in person. But Indran is basically a very good actor. He turned a hero after doing a variety of characters. On the other side, Raju became a hero in his first film itself. So, he was stuck on that. Young generation audience like Prithvi more as a hero. But whenever I go out, I hear people praising Indran's acting skills."
On the work front, Indrajith and Prithviraj are once again teaming up for a movie titled Ayalvashi helmed by Irshadh Parari. Reportedly, the duo are playing the lead characters in the flick.
