Prithviraj, the sought-after star in Tamil cinema, is thrilled at being part of Mani Ratnam's 'Ravana' aka 'Ashokavanam'.

He is enacting besides big names like Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Without divulging any details about the film, Prithviraj said, ' it would be a landmark movie in my career.'

Comparing Tamil and Malayalam film industries, the actor said, "In Tamil, you get more remunerations and wider reach which are very important aspects for an actor. Otherwise, it all boils down to the same. With novel themes, fresh cast and new directors, Tamil cinema is currently at its level best."

Prithviraj, who foremost priority is good cinema, says, 'I want to eke out a livelihood out of cinema. To stay afloat, I have to choose good roles and a good team to work with.'
