Ever since director Aashiq Abu announced his new project 'Neelavelicham’ that has Prithviraj in the lead role, the audience have been eagerly waiting to know more updates on the film. Now, the latest is that the movie;s producer Santosh T Kuruvilla has officially revealed that the movie will go on floors soon. Santosh T Kuruvilla, who had earlier backed films such as ‘Da Thadiya’, ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’, ‘Maayanadhi’, took to his official Facebook handle to announce the same.
He also revealed that the upcoming venture is based on the 1964 horror film ‘Bhargavi Nilayam’, which was a film adaptation of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer’s short story ‘Neelavelicham’. Apart from Prithviraj, the movie also stars Kunchacko Boban, Rima Kallingal, and Soubin Shahir playing pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Aashiq Abu-Tovino Thomas movie 'Naradan' is prepping up for a theatrical release. Santosh, who is also bankrolling Naradan, confirmed that the film will be released in theatres once the COVID-19 cases drop in the state. He also added that the film ‘Naradan’ will surely be released in theatres as it's one of the biggest films that is coming out of his production house. Naradan stars Anna ben in the female lead along with Jaffer Idukki, Sharaf U Dheen, Renji Panicker, and Joy Mathew in pivotal roles.
