Prithviraj, the young star from Malayalam had been in the role of a young director in 'Vellithirai', the recent release in Kollywood.

Prithviraj was donning the role that Mohanlal did in 'Udhayananu Tharam', the original of this movie. With able support from Prakash Raj who was in the role of Sreenivasan in the original, 'Vellithirai' was a decent success in Kollywood.

Any way, it seems that Prithviraj will have to do the similar role in another two of his forth coming movies. His new flick ‘Thirakkatha'-directed by Renjith which just started its shooting, have him in the role of a film director.

Another of his projects in the near future will be the Sundardas’s film ‘The Reel' which will also have him in a similar role. Prithviraj who had earlier expressed his ambition of becoming a film director in future, will be much happy to don the role, at least on screen.
