As Prithviraj`s latest release Ezra has entered its third week of the theatrical run, the movie has reportedly crossed the 20 crore mark from the box office collections in Kerala alone. The movie which hit over 125 screens in Kerala registered a whopping Rs 2.65 crores on the opening day itself and has set the cash registers ringing.

The movie which was released outside Kerala in 154 screens on February 17 has also marked the biggest ever release for a Malayalam movie outside Kerala, in places like Dubai, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.

Ezra, directed by debutant Jay K, is the first of its kind horror thriller in Mollywood set in a Jewish backdrop. The movie starring Prithviraj and Priya Anand in the lead roles has been receiving raving responses from the audience and celebrities alike. As most of the weekend shows are running to a packed audience, the box office figures are expected to soar even higher!.
