Prithviraj donates a huge sum for technicians

The Coronavirus pandemic left a lasting negative impact on several daily wagers in the film industry. On Wednesday, FEFKA’s (Film Employees Federation of Kerala) General Secretary B Unnikrishnan took to Facebook to thank actor-filmmaker Prithviraj for contributing a sum of rupees 300000 to the union's COVID-19 relief fund that provides support to those who have contracted the virus and are hospitalized. Earlier, Philipose K Joseph, the producer of Mohanlal starrer ‘Big Brother’ donated Rs. 5 lakh to the fund. Actor Anoop Menon too contributed Rs 1 lakh to the relief scheme.

It was recently FEFKA announced a massive pandemic relief scheme to help the members of the 19 unions under FEFKA in light of the second wave of coronavirus pandemic. With this, FEFKA aims to provide financial aid worth Rs 50,000 to families of members who succumbed to the virus. From providing medical assitance to providing academic materials to kids, the union is doing the service to members and their families.
