Actors Prithviraj and Dulquer Salmaan are the latest Mollywood celebrities to receive the prestigious Golden Visa from the UAE government. Both the actors took to their respective social media handles to express their happiness and gratitude for receiving the honor.

“Had the privilege and honour of receiving my golden visa from His Excellency Saood Abdul Aziz in the presence of Mr. Yusuf Ali. It was wonderful to hear of all the future plans of the Abu Dhabi govt to promote film and production activities, and also to encourage new talent locally and internationally. Looking forward to productions, shoots, and spending more time in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.” Wrote Dulquer on his social media pages.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj wrote, "Getting the GOLDEN VISA before joining “GOLD” ?? Thank you! @gdrfadubai @hhshkmohd @faz3 @dubaiculture @mydubai @nayeemmoosa @gentursecurity #emiratesfirst #dubaigovernment #Alimalallahalhammadi"

Earlier, the UAE authority had granted the Golden Visa to Mollywood stars Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, and Nyla Usha. The golden visa is usually granted to eminent personalities such as investors, doctors, engineers, and artists who have made significant contributions to their field. The recipients of the Golden visa are allowed to live and work in the Emirates without the need of a national sponsor for 10 years.
