Prithvi Shaw has made history becoming the second youngest player to score a century on debut against the West Indies in the first Paytm Test Series that is underway in Rajkot. At the time of this writing the youngster had scored 125 not out of 143 balls studded by 18 magnificent fours.
Prithvi is not new to records as he first announced himself on the world stage in 2013 by scoring 543 runs in one innings in a recognized match which was broke a record held from 1901 but lost it to Pranav Dhanawade who became the first to score 1000 runs in an innings in January 2016. He has scored a century in his Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and now his test debut. His first class average of 60.78 is nothing short of Bradmanesque and with this dream entry into the Indian team rest assured that there is more to come in the future. Congrats Prithvi Shaw a star if ever there was one.
