Composed by Pritam, the mesmerizing soundtrack of Imtiaz Ali's forthcoming Shahid Kapur - Kareena Kapoor starrer "Jab We Met" has a number of feathers in its cap.

We informed you that Sandesh Shandilya ("Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham") had composed a guest track, "Aaoge Jab Tum Saamne", which we are told, has been rendered by the noted Ustad Rashid Khan (from Kolkata) from the famous Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.

And if that isn't enough, the soothing "Yeh Raaste" number by Shaan has an aalaap rendered by none other than Ustad Sultan Khan, who is said to have mentored Sandesh. In fact, the latter even composed Khan saab's recently released hit album, "Piya Basanti".

Confirms director Imtiaz Ali, "This is a travel song. I wanted a very classical feel for a particular patch in the song when the couple is going through Rajasthan. It was Pritam's idea to ask Ustad to do the aalaap and it has shaped up exceedingly well."
