The team of ‘Barfi!’ have added yet another feather to its cap... After sweeping away several acclaims and also having a close brush with Oscar nomination list, the film yesterday bagged an international honour.

Barfi!’s music director Pritam reported to have won the Best Composer for the film at the 7th Asian Film Awards that was held in Hong Kong yesterday.

Directed by Anurag Basu, ‘Barfi!’ starred Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz. While the film’s story revolved around its mute and deaf protagonist and autistic girl, the soft music well-balanced with the silence of the characters.

The music gave a cheery feel to the sombreness of the plot. A compilation of six tracks, the audio album had Swanand Kirkire, Ashish Pandit, Neelesh Misra and Sayeed Quadri penning the lyrics.
