In recent news, it was confirmed that Kate Middleton is in the U.K. getting ready for her kids' summer break, despite rumors that she was there for cancer treatment. TikTok and Reddit users started speculating that Kate was in Houston, Texas's MD Anderson Cancer Center. Though no pictures have emerged, MD Anderson is unable to confirm or refute these allegations because of patient confidentiality regulations.
On March 22 Kate, 42, made public her cancer diagnosis. She had stomach surgery early this year for what was first thought to be a non-cancerous ailment, but tests later showed malignancy. She said she was in the early phases of treatment and receiving "preventive chemotherapy". Not revealed is the kind of cancer.
Kate's health is a common question posed to Prince William. He gave an update recently at a D-Day commemoration event, responding to a veteran's question about her well-being with, "Yes, she'd love to be here today."
Kate's health problems notwithstanding, the royal family has continued to be involved. William was in Wales lately, and King Charles was in London for The King's Foundation's inaugural awards. With her kids' summer vacation beginning in early July, Kate is reportedly in the United Kingdom. Between their Norfolk property, Anmer Hall, and Adelaide Cottage, close to the kids' school, the family is splitting their time.
Kate "has turned a corner" in her treatment and is now better managing her preventative chemotherapy, according to Royal expert Katie Nicholl. She has apparently been seen out with her kids, which is encouraging given her condition.
