Prince William's current visit to Singapore has drawn attention due to Princess Kate's absence from the tour. During his speech at the United for Wildlife Global Summit, William expressed regret on behalf of Kate, clarifying her decision to stay in the UK.

Being back in Singapore is a delight, remarked William, recalling their previous visit in 2012 during the Diamond Jubilee tour. He expressed apologies for Kate's nonattendance, stating, She couldn't join me; she's aiding George through his initial major exams. His comments elicited laughter from the audience.

William highlighted the primary focus of his visit: addressing environmental challenges. The summit, associated with the Royal Foundation, centered on innovative solutions for pressing global issues. Emphasizing Singapore's significance as a hub for entrepreneurs, he referred to the country as an ideal place for their discussions.

The summit centered on safeguarding the natural world from organized crime, with a strong focus on the illegal wildlife trade. William underscored the interrelation between wildlife trafficking and other criminal activities, addressing the loss endured by rangers and families due to such criminal convergence.

William unveiled a pioneering International Statement of Principles, established to counter the financial activities supporting illegal wildlife trade. He urged collective efforts to defeat criminal networks inflicting environmental and human loss.

His trip's pinnacle will be the attendance at the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony, a platform for addressing environmental issues. During the visit, he plans to interact with local communities and learn about their environmental conservation efforts.

Meanwhile, Kate remains in the UK, aiding their three children, particularly assisting George with his upcoming exams. George, attending Lambrook school, is likely preparing for entrance exams for his future private school. Though the school shift might occur at 13, George is anticipated to take the ISEB Common Pre-tests in Year 6 or 7.

Kate previously mentioned assisting George in his studies during a visit to Cardiff. George's educational future remains a subject of interest, with speculations about schools such as Eton College or Marlborough College, Kate's alma mater, swirling among the public.
