Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at the premiere of the new Bob Marley biopic, "Bob Marley: One Love," held at the Carib 5 Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex posed for photos and engaged with members of Marley's family, who came to support the film.
On the red carpet, Prince Harry, 39, looked sharp in a blue suit and white button-down, while Meghan, 42, stunned in a chic black dress, complemented by a black clutch and gold earrings. This unexpected appearance showcased the couple's appreciation for the iconic musician's legacy.
Prince Harry has a history with Jamaica, having visited the island nation in 2012 during his Diamond Jubilee tour of the Caribbean. During that trip, he danced with a large crowd to Bob Marley's iconic hit "One Love" and met the late musician's widow, Rita Marley.
The biopic, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley, aims to celebrate the life and music of the Jamaican icon, emphasizing his message of love and unity. Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and produced in collaboration with the Marley family, "One Love" features a star-studded cast, including Lashana Lynch, James Norton, Tosin Cole, Anthony Welsh, Michael Gandolfini, Umi Myers, and Nadine Marshall.
Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley's son, serves as a producer alongside Rita Marley, Cedella Marley, Robert Teitel, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and executive producers Richard Hewitt, Orly Marley, and Matt Solodky.
"One Love," one of the first authorized biopics of the legendary artist, is set to hit theaters on February 14, providing audiences with an intimate portrayal of Bob Marley's enduring impact on generations.
