After leaving their royal roles in 2020 and moving to the US, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made it loud-and-clear that they feel dissatisfied with prejudiced reports by British tabloids. Multiple lawsuits initiated by Prince Harry against press conglomerates accuse them of breaching privacy laws as well as libel. A trial against The Sun's publishers, News Group Newspapers, is scheduled to open next year out of a preliminary hearings held last month after Prince Harry sued without first consulting lawyers.

Aside from that, Prince Harry also plays a part in two other court cases against the publishers of the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror. Such legal actions by members of the royal family are unheard-of.

Other members, like Prince William, King Charles, Kate Middleton, and Camilla, understand that Prince Harry has the right to take companies to court but aren't completely happy about it considering his witness statements and revelations about his royal relations during court appearances.

Although the royal family respects that Harry is autonomous as a private citizen, they apparently get annoyed by more high-profile trials. Still, they plan to remain locked on and not get distracted by ongoing legal battles.
