Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his landslide victory in the 2014 parliamentary elections contested from two constituencies one being Varanasi and the other Vadadora and won both. As the nation is gearing up for the 2019 elections national media is reporting that Modi will once again be fighting from Varansi the city for which he has taken many developmental measures including the multi-modal terminal on the river Ganges.
The Congress Party which has made Priyanka Gandhi the General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh East is said to be keen on fielding her as the candidate against the incumbent PM. Other reports suggest that Modi may choose Puri as his constituency and we have to wait a few more days when the decision is finalized.
