Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has a thing for love. All his movies have been about love and its labor. And his movies have all been Premante something.
So this movie is no exception. A master of love subjects, Ravi Kishore has chosen a successful Hindi movie to remake here. And he has chosen Ramana to direct it. Ramana is known for action-commercial movies. In that sense, Premante Inthe is a new experiment for him.
The film is a feel-good romantic youthful subject. Just the kind of movie that the summer audience would be hoping for.
Starring Navdeep and Poonam Bajwa in the leads, the movie traverses the twin line of love and friendship. In that sense, it is typical. But as the director says, the treatment will be unique and different.
For Navdeep and Poonam, this is their second film together after Modati Cinema. The duo say they have enjoyed every minute of the film. 'It has been such fun doing the movie,' they say in unison.
The film's music has been a highlight. Koti, who is a regular in Sravanthi's movie, has strummed out some memorable melodies here.
The audio is already rocking (though released just a couple of days back). There are six songs and they are all top class, says the director.
The film's shoot is almost over and only some patch up work remains.
Also in the cast are Rupali, Sathya Krishna, Sarath Babu and Aishwarya. There is also a strong team of comedians.
Shankar is the choreographer, Hari Anumolu the cameraman and Srikar Prasad the editor.
The film is set for April release.
