Actor and director Soubin Shahir got married to Kozhikode based Jamia Zaheer, who happens to be his close friend. Attended by close friends and family, the wedding was a low-key affair. The couple got engaged a month ago and, as you know, the pictures of the duo were viral on social media. 

Soubin started his career as an assistant director in the film industry with Siddique’s Chronic Bachelor in 2003. After assisting for a number of films, Soubin made his acting debut in Fazil’s Kaiyethum Doorath (2002). However, the actor rose to fame with the movie 'Premam' in which he played a PT Master role. Recently, Soubin made his debut as a director with family entertainer Parava and it garnered a tremendous response from the audience. 

Soubin currently has multiple films lined up in his kitty. Mammootty’s Streetlights, Biju Menon’s Rosapoo, Zakariya’s Sudan and Manju Warrier’s Mohanlal are some of his films in the pipeline.
