Alphonse Puthran's second directorial, 'Premam' is turning out to be a massive blockbuster. Just one week since release, and the movie has already grossed around 7 crores. The cash registers are ringing and 'Premam' is touted to overtake blockbuster movies like 'Thattathin arayathu' and 'Bangalore Days'.

However, Jeethu Joseph's Mohanlal starrer 'Dryshyam' which clocked a record collection of 60 crores, is still at the top and 'Premam' is as of now, nowhere near the movie. The movie has to go a long way before it can overtake 'Dryshyam'.
