Premam, the remake of a super-hit Malayalam film by same name, is stars Naga Chaitanya in the role of a quintessential lover boy. His pair is Shruti Hassan. Also starring Anupama Parameshwaran (who was recently seen in A Aa) and Madonna Sebastian, this one is directed by Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya fame. Music-directed by Gopi Sunder and Rajesh Murugesan (the latter composed the music for the original version), a song was picturized on Chai and Shruti recently in Norway.

The news is that the movie's audio is being planned to be released on August 29, which is Akkineni Nagarjuna's birthday. As for the release, it will hit the screens worldwide on September 16.

Venkatesh is playing a cameo in this movie. Nagarjuna has lent his voice as a narrator.
