'Prema Oka Maikam' shooting almost complete

Charmi is playing in prostitute's role in the film 'Prema Oka Maikam'. In this film 'Happy Days'- fame Rahul and 'Premiste'- fame Saranya are playing the lead cast. Chandu, who proved his directorial abilities with films like 'Notebook' and 'Tenth Class' is directing the movie. The film is being produced by D Venkata Suresh and K Surya Srikant on the banner of Touring Talkies. The shooting of the film is almost but for a song.
Speaking on the occasion, the director and producers say, Recently we have taken up a schedule in Coorg. Some key scenes and a song were shot during the 10 day schedule there. The balance song would be completed very soon. It is a love story that runs between a prostitute, a writer and a singer. It is a musical love story. In this film there are a total of six songs and two bit songs. Singer Deepu's brother MGK Praveen scored tunes for this movie. Though this is his debut film, he gave excellent tunes for the film.
In the earlier generation Savitri, Jayaprada, Jasudha and in the present generation Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Anushka excelled in the character of a prostitute. The role played by Charmme would also be on par with their roles. We are planning to complete the post-production works by the end of January. We are making efforts to release the film by next month.
Dialogues are by Pulagam C Narayana, lyrics are by Kulasekhar, Sasi, camera is by Praveen Bhandari, editing is by V Nagireddy, while story, screenplay and direction are by Chandu. Baby Happy is presenting the movie.
