Trust Sooraj Barjatya to blend record breakers into his family dramas. While his earlier ventures 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun' and 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' were known for maximum songs and full of cast, the director goes a step further with his latest Salman Khan starrer, in which the superstar gets back to wearing the good boy Prem avatar.
As per media sources, 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' (PRDP) has recorded a 13-min song and even shot it with the cast recently. Interestingly, this is the longest song ever in Bollywood. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya and choreographed by Ahmed Khan, the song features Salman Khan playing a football at a marriage ceremony and will have the entire family including Sonam Kapoor trying their legs at the game. Unlike 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun', the song will not be an Antakshri sequence, nor compilations of several songs like in 'Hum Saath Saath Hai'. Instead, it will be a full-length musical sequence which will take the story further, Ahmed Khan stated to sources.
The choreographer also revealed that Salman will feature in this song in a very different attire, dancing in kurta-pyjama. "The entire feel and vibe of the song is totally different. There's a unique magic to the number", added Khan, who will be choreographing for Salman again in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
It is said that PRDP has nearly nine songs altogether - all handled by Reshammiya.
